Football Recap: Cooper City Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After soaring to 42 points the game before, Cooper City was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They took a 20-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stoneman Douglas Eagles. The Cowboys were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Nick Dyer threw for 63 yards and one touchdown. Malik Yow was his top target, picking up 36 receiving yards and one score.

Cooper City's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Stoneman Douglas, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Cooper City has already played their next game, a 28-13 victory against Pembroke Pines Charter on the 19th. As for Stoneman Douglas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 20-9 win against Boyd Anderson on the 19th.
