Kylie Kennedy commands the offense for Railroaders win

Recap: Carlin Railroaders vs. Jackpot Jaguars
The Carlin Railroaders can finally bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 33-25 victory over Jackpot. The win was just what Carlin needed coming off of a 48-14 loss in their prior match.
Carlin's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kylie Kennedy, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and two steals. Kennedy is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Katelyn Jeffries was another key contributor, scoring six points along with three steals.
Carlin's win ended a 11-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-18. As for Jackpot, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.
Carlin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jackpot, they and Owyhee will face off at 2:30 p.m. on February 10th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Jackpot comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last 14 games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
