Ocean Springs faced Madison Central in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Greyhounds walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Jaguars. Winning may never get old, but the Greyhounds sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Ocean Springs easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-9.

Layla Daley paced Ocean Springs' offense, picking up nine kills. Daley got some help from Lucy Pepper and her ten assists. Alden St. Amant controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Ocean Springs' win bumped their record up to 28-5. As for Madison Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-8.

Ocean Springs didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Jackson Academy on the 20th. As for Madison Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Brandon on the 20th.
