Basketball Recap: Wyatt Killough and Evan Arredondo Secure Win for Sonora

There's no place like home for Sonora, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 48-39 victory over the Christoval Cougars on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Broncos: when they faced off against the Cougars back in January, they had to take a 61-49 loss.

Leading Sonora to victory were Evan Arredondo and Wyatt Killough. Arredondo dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds, while Killough posted 12 points and four steals. Dylan Ford was another key player, putting up four points.

The win got Sonora back to even at 15-15. As for Christoval, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-12.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Eldorado the next time they take the court. Christoval will head out to face Eldorado at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, while Sonora will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
