St. Edward's lead shrinks in Midwest rankings.
After leading by nearly 17 points in the rankings last week, St. Edward (Lakewood, Ohio) now holds a 4.1-point margin over No. 2 Warren Central (Indianapolis) following a loss to Elder (Cincinnati) last week.
Warren Central moved up from No. 7 to No. 2 following its win over previous No. 2 Ben Davis (Indianapolis). Elder, meanwhile, moved up from No. 14 to No. 5.
St. Xavier (Cincinnati) is the highest-debuting team of the week, entering the rankings at No. 15.
