Soccer Recap: Catalina Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Catalina can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Gilbert Christian Knights on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, the Trojans couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Yona Ibrahim, who's now up to 19 this season.

Catalina's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Gilbert Christian, they pushed their record up to 16-3 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home.

Catalina does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gilbert Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Yuma Catholic on the 22nd.
