Recap: Brownsburg Bulldogs vs. Bedford North Lawrence Stars
The Brownsburg Bulldogs lost against the Bedford North Lawrence Stars back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Brownsburg took a 46-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bedford North Lawrence. While losing is never fun, Brownsburg can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 77th, while Bedford North Lawrence is ranked 20th).
Chloe Spreen was her usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with 6 rebounds for Bedford North Lawrence. The contest was Spreen's 11th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Madisyn Bailey, who scored 7 points along with 5 assists.
Brownsburg now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Bedford North Lawrence, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brownsburg will be home for the holidays to greet Avon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bedford North Lawrence will take on Silver Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
