Basketball Game Preview: Central Christian Cougars vs. St. John Tigers

Central Christian is 0-3 against St. John since February of 2019 but things could change on Friday. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Central Christian Cougars challenge the St. John Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Central Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped last Friday as they easily beat Caldwell 52-21.

Meanwhile, St. John posted their closest victory since February 9th last Friday. They had just enough and edged Kiowa County out 54-51. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

St. John's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Central Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Central Christian might still be hurting after the 57-34 defeat they got from St. John in their previous meeting back in January. Can Central Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
