Basketball Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

Trinity lost to Keller back in December of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Trojans received a blow as they fell 56-38 to the Indians. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 543rd, while the Indians are ranked 267th).

Leading Keller to victory were Cash Erdmann and Seth Turnbull. Erdmann posted 15 points and eight rebounds, while Turnbull shot 75% from the field on his way to 19 points and seven boards. Those 19 points gave Turnbull a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Shawn Harris, who had eight points and six boards.

Trinity has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-17 record this season. As for Keller, their victory bumped their record up to 13-14.

Trinity has already played their next game (against V.R. Eaton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Keller, they have also already played their next matchup, a 35-31 defeat against Byron Nelson on the 31st.
