Baseball Recap: Bishop's Takes a Loss

Bishop fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against University City on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Centurions by a score of 8-7.

Henry Armstrong made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one run and one double. Kyle Rippel also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Bishop's defeat dropped their record down to 18-11-1. As for University City, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-12.

As of now, neither Bishop's nor the Centurions have any future games scheduled.
