Softball Recap: Dwyer Takes a Loss

If Dwyer was riding high fresh off their 15-3 takedown of Jensen Beach last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Dwyer Panthers fell 14-10 to the American Heritage Patriots on Tuesday.

Kayla Sejnoha was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Fatima Masri, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Dwyer now has a losing record of 1-2. As for American Heritage, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Dwyer will challenge Melbourne at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for American Heritage, they will face off against Pembroke Pines Charter at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
