Basketball Recap: Three Forks Piles Up the Points Against Lone Peak

On Friday, Three Forks faced Lone Peak in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Three Forks Wolves claimed a resounding 84-55 win over the Lone Peak Big Horns. The Wolves' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Three Forks pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 25.4 points. As for Lone Peak, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-2 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Three Forks will host Jefferson at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th. Jefferson knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully Three Forks likes a good challenge. As for Lone Peak, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against West Yellowstone at 5:30 p.m.
