Softball Recap: Pickens Academy Find Success

Pickens Academy won the last time they faced Pickens County and things went their way on Thursday too. The Pirates walked away with a 7-2 win over the Tornadoes. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pirates.

Pickens Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-7-1. As for Pickens County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pickens Academy will welcome Holy Spirit Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pickens County, they will challenge Aliceville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tornadoes are facing the Yellowjackets at the right time seeing as the Yellowjackets are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
