Basketball Recap: Ayana Kincade Key Part of a Team Effort in Leopards Win

Hernando won the last time they faced South Sumter and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Hernando Leopards walked away with a 55-42 win over the South Sumter Raiders. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Leopards.

Hernando's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ayana Kincade, who posted 25 points. Those 25 points gave Kincade a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aislin Ruppe, who had 17 points.

The victory got Hernando back to even at 3-3. As for South Sumter, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Hernando will head out to take on Lecanto at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Sumter, they will host Vanguard at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
