            Baseball Recap: Spring Garden Panthers vs. Woodland Wildcats        
        
		
        
        
            Spring Garden was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their 15th straight  defeat  dating back to last season. They lost  14-0 to the Woodland Wildcats. The  game marked the first time this season in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.
Spring Garden's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Woodland, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the  win, which was their seventh straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Looking ahead,  a feisty cat fight will be fought as  the Panthers  challenge  the Tigers at 12:30  p.m.  on Monday. Spring Garden has given up an average of 11 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Woodland, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  contest,  a  2-1  victory against Cherokee County on the 1st.
