Stratford's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Berkeley on Monday. The Knights' pitchers stepped up to hand the Goose Creek Gators a 10-0 shutout. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.
Jacob Deacon tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
