Basketball Recap: Corvallis Comes Up Short

Corvallis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 69-21 defeat at the hands of the Beaverhead County Beavers. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 94th, while the Beavers are ranked fifth).

Corvallis' loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Beaverhead County, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Butte Central Catholic the next time they take the court. Beaverhead County will head out to face Butte Central Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Corvallis will host them at 4:00 p.m. on February 1st.
