Baseball Recap: West Washington's Run of Seven Straight Wins Now Over

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact West Washington can now relate to. They lost 10-0 to the Northeast Dubois Jeeps on Saturday. The game marked the first time this season in which the Senators were not able to get on the board.

West Washington saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nash Ables, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

With the defeat, West Washington broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 20-4. As for Northeast Dubois, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 18 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.

West Washington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northeast Dubois, they will take on Shakamak on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Jeeps 3.9, the Lakers 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
