Linn-Mar had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They fell just short of the Johnston Dragons by a score of 2-1. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Dragons recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Linn-Mar's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Johnston, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Linn-Mar will take on Iowa City West at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Johnston, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Oskaloosa on the 6th.
