Baseball Preview: East Central Trojans vs. Columbus North Bull Dogs
East Central is 2-8 against Columbus North since May of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Trojans will welcome the Bull Dogs at 6:00 p.m. East Central will be strutting in after a win while Columbus North will be coming in after a defeat.
East Central barely beat Franklin County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trojans put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 11-3 victory on Monday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Trojans needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.
Cole Reynolds made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three). He was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, East Central got a massive performance out of Ryan Ott, who went 3-for-4 with five RBI and one double. Those three hits gave Ott a new career-high. Noah Long was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-3.
East Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Franklin County only posted an OBP of .276.
