Softball Recap: Pioneer Takes a Loss

Pioneer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Davenport Wolves, falling 10-0.

Pioneer's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Davenport, the victory got them back to even at 4-4-1.

Pioneer will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on McAllen at 7:00 p.m. on March 3. As for Davenport, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Jones on the 20th.
