Softball Recap: St. Joseph Bulldogs vs. Wonderview Daredevils
St. Joseph had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Wonderview Daredevils by a score of 13-9 on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what St. Joseph needed considering they were shutout in their previous match.
St. Joseph got a massive performance out of Ashlynne Vote, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of Blakely Holland, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all six of her plate appearances.
St. Joseph's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-16. As for Wonderview, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
St. Joseph will be playing at home against Magnet Cove at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Wonderview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
