The Trinity Classical Academy Knights will face off against the Santa Rosa Academy Rangers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. On Thursday, Trinity Classical Academy took their game with ease, bagging a 41-7 victory over Temecula Prep. With the Knights ahead 34-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Trinity Classical Academy can attribute much of their success to Andrew Carlson, who threw for 213 yards and three TDs while completing 75% of his passes, and Hudson Sweitzer, who rushed for 79 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. Those three passing touchdowns gave Carlson a new career-high. 80 of Carlson's passing yards were hauled in by Christopher Brown, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
Trinity Classical Academy didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Temecula Prep to a completion percentage of just 35.3%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from two players: Aiden Visconti and Chase Backman, who each logged one passes deflected. Trinity Classical Academy is a perfect 3-0 when they limit the passing game like that.
Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Santa Rosa Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They were beaten by Webb 51-24. The Rangers were down 44-14 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Trinity Classical Academy will need to focus on slowing down Aaron Quesada, one of several Santa Rosa Academy players who made an impact when they last played. He picked up 56 receiving yards and one score.
Trinity Classical Academy's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.7 points over those games. As for Santa Rosa Academy, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-2.
Trinity Classical Academy skirted past Santa Rosa Academy 36-33 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Rangers' Daniel Marlow, who rushed for 89 yards and a pair of TDs, and also threw for 269 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
