Basketball Game Preview: Eastside Eagles vs. Spartanburg Vikings

The Eastside Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Spartanburg Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Eastside came up short against Dorman on Tuesday, falling 44-24. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Cavaliers: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Spartanburg earned a 67-54 victory over Wade Hampton on Tuesday.

Spartanburg's win bumped their record up to 10-15. As for Eastside, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-18.

Eastside beat Spartanburg 62-50 when the teams last played back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Eastside since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
