Baseball Recap: Chief Sealth Takes a Loss

After flying high against Franklin on Monday, Chief Sealth came back down to earth. The Seahawks fell just short of the Ballard Beavers by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Seahawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Beavers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

Chief Sealth has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Ballard, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7.

Chief Sealth didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-0 victory against Franklin on the 17th. As for Ballard, they have also already played their next contest, an 8-2 defeat against Eastside Catholic on the 17th.
