Football Recap: Vintage Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Vintage was the 17-7 winner over San Marin when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Crushers fell 14-3 to the Mustangs on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Crushers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 238th, while the Mustangs are ranked 105th).

Vintage is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-3. As for San Marin, their record now sits at 7-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Vintage is set to square off against their familiar foe Cardinal Newman at 7:00 p.m. on November 7. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Crushers 13.6, the Cardinals 11.1) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, San Marin will challenge rival Rancho Cotate at 7:00 p.m. on November 7.
