Recap: Linn Wildcats vs. New Bloomfield Wildcats
The Linn Wildcats won the last time they faced the New Bloomfield Wildcats, and things went their way on Friday too. Linn walked away with a 58-47 win over New Bloomfield. The win made it back-to-back wins for Linn.
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jacob Fuhriman, who scored 13 points along with four steals. Andrew Fouch was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
The win got Linn back to even at 6-6. As for New Bloomfield, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.
Linn will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Eugene at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th. As for New Bloomfield, they will take on South Callaway at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Callaway knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matchups -- so hopefully New Bloomfield likes a good challenge.
