Baseball Recap: Jellico Takes a Loss

Jellico was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Oneida Indians, falling 15-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blue Devils of the 18-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Jellico's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Oneida, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-6.

Jellico wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 16-1 loss against Oliver Springs on the 1st. As for Oneida, they have also already played their next match, a 15-0 defeat against Alcoa on the 1st.
