There's no place like home for Berlin, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Saturday. Everything went their way against the New Britain Golden Hurricanes on Friday as they made off with  a  3-0 victory. The  win continues a trend for the Redcoats in their matchups with the Golden Hurricanes: they've now won four in a row.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-11,  25-20.
 Ava Gombotz was the offensive standout of the  matchup as she  had 14  digs.
 Berlin  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 18  aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as New Britain only  served eight.
Berlin's victory bumped their record up to 16-6. As for New Britain, they dropped their record down to 5-13 with the  defeat, which was their 11th straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Berlin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  3-1  win against Middletown on the 20th. As for New Britain, they have also already played their next match,  a  3-0  loss against Southington on the 20th.
