Baseball Recap: Mildred Takes a Loss

Mildred lost against Frankston on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 3-2 to the Indians, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mildred's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Frankston, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mildred will venture away from home to square off against Kerens at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bobcats will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Frankston, they are taking a road trip to challenge Cross Roads at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians are facing the Bobcats at the right time seeing as the Bobcats are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
