Volleyball Game Preview: Lone Oak Buffaloes vs. Rains Wildcats

The Lone Oak Buffaloes will face off against the Rains Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Lone Oak came up short against Chisum and fell 3-1.

Lone Oak started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-13, 25-22, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Rains also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Prairiland by a score of 3-1. The Wildcats have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Rains' defeat dropped their record down to 6-27. As for Lone Oak, their loss dropped their record down to 23-11.

Lone Oak was able to grind out a solid victory over Rains when the teams last played back in September, winning 3-1. Will the Buffaloes repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
