Volleyball Recap: Cardinal Spellman Takes a Loss

Cardinal Spellman and Weston squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Cardinal Spellman had to settle for second. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cardinals of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2023.

Kaylee Perault paced Cardinal Spellman's offense, picking up 11 kills. Perault got some help from Marin Kearney and her 15 assists. Lauren Christian controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Cardinal Spellman's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Weston, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

As of now, neither Cardinal Spellman nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
