Okaw Valley waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took down the Cumberland Pirates 51-34. This was a revenge game for the Timberwolves: when they faced off against the Pirates last Thursday, they had to take a 46-43 loss.

Several Pirates players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cameron Roedl, who posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Zack Harmon, who had four points and five boards.

Okaw Valley's victory bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Cumberland, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 15-9.

Okaw Valley has already played their next game, a 73-39 win against Blue Ridge on the 4th. As for Cumberland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 57-43 victory against Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond on the 4th.
