After low-scoring totals in their previous five game, Lakeshore brought some dynamite into their most recent match. Everything went their way against the Gull Lake Blue Devils on Wednesday as they made off with a 4-1 win. Given Lakeshore's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while Gull Lake are ranked 232nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lakeshore is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Gull Lake, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5-1.

Lakeshore will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Blue Devils: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
