Liberty came into Saturday's contest looking for another win against Nevada Union, but Devin Peterson wouldn't allow it. Nevada Union skirted past Liberty 2-1 thanks in part to Peterson, who had 12 digs and one assist. Those 12 digs gave him a new career-high.

Nevada Union has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. This is the second loss in a row for Liberty and nudges their season record down to 11-4.

Nevada Union wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Palo Alto on the 22nd. As for Liberty, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Deer Valley at 6:00 p.m. on April 1.
