It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact St. Elizabeth can now relate to. They received a blow on Saturday as they fell 28-14 to the Newark Charter School Patriots. The Vikings' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, St. Elizabeth still got an impressive performance from Emmanuel Matagaro, who picked up 89 receiving yards and one score, and also rushed for 87 yards on only 11 carries.

St. Elizabeth's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Newark Charter School, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.
