It was a good run, but Destin unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost to Ponte Vedra on the road by a 27-13 margin.

Destin's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Ponte Vedra, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Destin will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Choctawhatchee at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Destin's defense has only allowed 9.3 points per game this season, so Choctawhatchee's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Ponte Vedra, they will square off against Fletcher at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Fletcher 9.5, Ponte Vedra 7.5) so any points scored will be well earned.
