Northeast is a perfect 10-0 against Stranahan since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 3:45 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Northeast and six for Stranahan.

Last Thursday, Northeast came up short against Northwestern and fell 9-4.

Meanwhile, Stranahan also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Boyd Anderson by a score of 11-6.

Edil Ramirez was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Derek Bernard was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Stranahan's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Northeast, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

Northeast took their victory against Stranahan in their previous matchup on March 11th by a conclusive 15-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Northeast since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
