Keene is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Brattleboro. The Blackbirds blew past the Bears 10-1. The result was nothing new for the Blackbirds, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Watson Ferguson looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four).
