Baseball Recap: Algoma Wolves vs. Kewaunee Storm

Algoma had lost three straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 2-8 to make it four. They lost 6-0 to the Kewaunee Storm. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Storm this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-0 on Tuesday.

Algoma saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Charlie Prokash, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

As for Kewaunee, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0. The result was nothing new for the Storm, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.

On Kewaunee's side, Waylon Delain made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Delain has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double.

In other pitching news, Jackson Walecka looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2025.
