Volleyball Recap: Springfield Comes Up Short

After flying high against East on Thursday, Springfield came back down to earth. The Spartans fell 3-1 to the West Geauga Wolverines on Monday.

The final score came out to 25-22, 25-27, 25-16, 25-17.

Springfield's loss dropped their record down to 18-6. As for West Geauga, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Springfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Geauga, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Marlington on the 22nd.
