Baseball Game Preview: Polytechnic Parrots vs. Wyatt Chaparrals

For the second straight game, Polytechnic will face off against Wyatt. The Parrots will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Chaparrals at 7:00 p.m.

Having struggled with 11 defeats in a row, Polytechnic turned things around against Wyatt on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Chaparrals by a score of 8-5.

Tomas Sanchez was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February. Isaac Mendez was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Polytechnic's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 6-13-1. As for Wyatt, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16.
