Volleyball Recap: Paoli Takes a Loss

Paoli lost against North Harrison back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Rams lost 3-0 to the Cougars. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-5, 25-15.

Tariana Burkhead paced Paoli's offense, picking up two kills. Burkhead got some help from Maddie Vernon and her three assists. Kalyn Hannon and Charlee Ashley kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Paoli's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for North Harrison, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Paoli wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Perry Central on the 16th. As for North Harrison, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Lanesville on the 18th.
