Baseball Recap: Williston-Elko Comes Up Short

Williston-Elko lost to Horse Creek Academy on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Blue Devils came up short against the Stallions, falling 9-2. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Williston-Elko saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brice Thigpen, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Williston-Elko now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Horse Creek Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-9.

Coming up, Williston-Elko will look to defend their home field on Monday against Bamberg-Ehrhardt at 6:00 p.m. Horse Creek Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
