Softball Recap: Point Arena Takes a Loss

If Point Arena was feeling good fresh off their 24-14 takedown of Laytonville last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pirates lost 10-0 to the Willits Wolverines on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Pirates in their meetings with the Wolverines: they've now lost three in a row.

Point Arena now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Willits, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Point Arena will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Round Valley at 4:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for Willits, they will square off against Tomales at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
