Basketball Game Preview: Hellgate Knights vs. Glacier Wolfpack

The Hellgate Knights are taking a road trip to challenge the Glacier Wolfpack at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hellgate is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.1 points per game this season.

Hellgate took a loss when they played away from home last Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 57-55 victory over Sentinel.

Hellgate's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Zane Gillhouse, who went 5 of 11 en route to 17 points, and Easton Sant, who went 6 for 13 on his way to 13 points and five boards. Spencer Wayland was another key player, putting up eight points and seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, Glacier had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They snuck past Flathead with a 54-49 win on Friday.

Hellgate's record is now 6-3. As for Glacier, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-7.

Hellgate might still be hurting after the 63-40 defeat they got from Glacier when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Can Hellgate avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
