Soccer Recap: Ligonier Valley Takes a Loss

If Ligonier Valley was feeling good fresh off their 5-2 takedown of South Allegheny on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rams came up short against the Greensburg Salem Golden Lions on Monday, falling 5-0. Ligonier Valley were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Greensburg Salem apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Ligonier Valley now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Greensburg Salem, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ligonier Valley will challenge McGuffey at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greensburg Salem, they will take on Mt. Carmel Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
