Flag Football Recap: Academy of Richmond County Takes a Loss

Academy of Richmond County fell victim to Lakeside and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 26-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Musketeers have suffered since October 19, 2024.

Ke'Zyra Lewis threw for 43 yards on four of 14 attempts. Eusteen Keso was her top target, picking up 39 receiving yards. On the ground, Ayana Spearman rushed for 30 yards.

Academy of Richmond County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Lakeside, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Academy of Richmond County will head out to square off against Evans at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lakeside, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Glynn Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
