Volleyball Recap: Crestview Now 8-1 over Last Nine Games

Crestview posted their closest victory since August 19th on Saturday. They skirted past the St. Paul Flyers 2-1. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Flyers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2021.

Crestview had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-17, 25-19.

Crestview is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for St. Paul, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-5.

Crestview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Marion Local on the 27th. As for St. Paul, they will take on Plymouth at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
