Volleyball Recap: Holy Trinity Catholic Comes Up Short

Holy Trinity Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Valor Preparatory Academy Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Celtics of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-9, 25-7.

Holy Trinity Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Valor Preparatory Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-10-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, Holy Trinity Catholic and Valor Preparatory Academy will both be playing Summit Christian Academy the next time they take the court. The Knights will head out to face the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Celtics will host them at 6:00 p.m. on the 20th.
